This play is based on the very popular and successful Australian movie of the same name and follows the Kerrigan family as they take on the government and win!
The Kerrigan home is situated very near the airport and when the government issues a compulsory acquisition order for the family home, which mean the Kerrigan's must vacate their 'Castle' to make room for an airport expansion project, Daryl takes matters into his own hands.
He rallies other affected neighbours, hires his inept attorney friend Dennis Denuto, and attempts to battle it in court. His first attempt does not gain favourable results but a chance run-in with retired and sympathetic lawyer Lawrence Hamill has Daryl and the family celebrating after a High Court victory.
